Up to date ECARDS-Dolakha conducted several programmes in all VDCs and a municipality of Dolakha district and some VDCs of Sindhupalchok district too. The organization worked especially for poor, socially backward dalit, ethnic community, women, children, and poorest of the poor family. A conservative figure shows that more than 15,000 HHs received direct benefits from the ECARDS. In initial phase the programmme was focused in relief package where as in current phase the programme is centralized in natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, promotion of micro and small scale enterprises, protection of human rights, return and reintegration of children associated with armed forces and armed groups, peace building activities for conflict management, implementation of community based climate risk management initiatives on NAPA thematic sector in Dolakha district, community/reproductive health, local governance and community development programme, education rights, women rights, rights to land and food. Now, more than 18 staffs are working in the field of natural resource management, community based climate risk management initiatives, sustainable agriculture development, psychosocial counseling, community/reproductive health, and micro enterprise development sector and local governance and development programme.
